Chapter 9 – Unrealistic Reality

- I’ll go first! – The woman shouted.
- Hold on a second… I’m not moving one inch without knowing your name. – Hugh requested.
- My name doesn’t matter. You will never see me again. – The woman replied.
- Stop kidding around! I’m not here for jokes, if I lose now, one thing I can assure you; I will see you again! – Hugh replied, with determination.
- (His determination… has grown since I last saw him…) – The woman thought. – These are Susanowo and Tsukoyomi, you can call me Amaterasu.  – The woman ceased and told her name.
- (These names… Are familiar…) – Pandora thought, worried.
- Then Amaterasu… give me all you got! – Hugh shouted.
- Very well then. – Amaterasu smirked. – I’ll take the first turn! – She shouted. 

Amaterasu’s turn

Draw! 
I’ll start by summoning, Machina Gearframe! You know the effect, it allows me to add Fortress from my deck to my hand.

- Wait... what…? – Hugh watched these familiar monsters.

I’ll discard Geargia Arsenal and Fortress to Special Summon the discarded Fortress. But I’m not done! Because I’ll repeat the same step again, discarding a Geargia Armor to summon another Fortress.
- This feels nostalgic, doesn’t? – Amaterasu smirked again.

I’ll overlay my two Fortress to summon, Zikia Form – Machina Dragon!

The Machina Dragon Hugh once knew had taken a corruption form, the monster that Amaterasu had summon had the same color schemes as the dragon she summoned before, the same black and red lines color.
- I-Impossible… - Hugh heard the corrupted roar and couldn’t believe.
- Reality… is such an awful thing… don’t you think? – Amaterasu lean her neck a bit to her side and smirked once again.
- Chasing me with the past won’t intimidate me! – Hugh tried to show that he wasn’t afraid.

Oh… don’t worry. I plan to take you down with your own cards. I activate Fire Formation – Mismar; you don’t know this card, but you know its clean version, Fire Formation – Tensu.

- That’s impossible! Only I was given the power of the 108 Stars of Destiny! – Hugh replied.

No, my dear… You were given the power of the 36 Heavenly Spirits. I, on the other hand… I was given the power of the 72 Earthly Spirits. Now allow me t continue, I will activate Mismar’s effect. To Special Summon two, Brotherhood of the Fire Fist monsters from my deck and in addition of the cost of 1000 Life points, I can summon one more monster from my hand.

I’ll Summon, Fire Fist – Toad and Dog. Then I’ll summon from my Hand, Evilsaur - Ceratus. I’ll overlay my two Fire Fist monsters to Summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Demon King of Chaos.

With this, I end my turn.

Hugh’s turn

- (I can’t risk…) – Hugh thought.
I activate Dark Hole!

- I activate Demon King of Chaos’ effect; to detach 1 Xyz Material and It won’t be destroyed and it can’t be an attack target for the rest of this turn. And also, If I send one Fire Formation from my field to the graveyard I can target one monster I control, it cannot leave the field for this turn. And I’ll do that, to protect Ceratus. – Amaterasu chained 

I activate Fire Formation – Tenki. This allows me to search Spirit from my Deck to my side of the field. I’ll summon Leopard and activate its effect to tribute itself and set Tensu. I’ll activate it and normal Summon Spirit; Spirit when is normal summoned, I can revive Leopard. Not only that I’ll do but I’ll tune these two monsters to Synchro Summon, Horse Prince. When I Synchro summon this card, I can Special Summon one level 3 monster from my deck. And I’ll summon Rooster. Next Rooster’s effect will activate to add Bear to my hand from my Deck. Then I’ll activate Rooster’s second effect to Send tenki and set Tensen.

Then I will attack Ceratus with Horse Prince. I’ll end afterward.

I’ll activate, Evi-Diversity. To add one Eviltile or Evilsaur monster from my graveyard or deck to my hand, I’ll add, Eviltile Westlion. I’ll normal summon and activate its effect, when it’s normal summoned, it gets changed to defense position and I will Special Summon another Evilsaur Ceratus.

 - Here it comes… - Pandora softly whispered.

I’ll Tune these two Evilsaurs to Xyz Summon!
“Corruption in the era of empowerment! Dragon of the Onslaught of the Kings! Burn all the opposition, Evilkaiser Lakkuna!" 

A small fissure opened, as it was from the Different Dimension world, from there, the claws of the dragon appeared; As it wanted to get out.
- Face your doom, Hugh! – Amaterasu laughed as the dragon opened the fissure in a larger scale and got out from its prison.
- Hugh and Pandora never saw such beast, the desire for killing. – This… is madness… - Hugh whispered, looking into the beast’s eyes.

I’ll attack you Rooster with my Demon King!

- Hugh stared at the monster, pulling out his scythe and rushing towards Hugh’s monster. Watching Hugh’s fear and Pandora shouted his name, making him to wake up. – I’ll activate the Trap card, Fire Formation – Tensen! Increasing Rooster’s effect by 1000. – Hugh replied to the attack 

Nah uh… I activate Lakkuna’s effect. As a cost of life points, I can negate a Trap, Spell or a Summon. Depending on the kind of course; Trap card is 800 life points. I’ll pay 800 life points to negate and destroy Tensen. My attack goes through!

- As Hugh took the damage, Pandora realized her energy getting stronger bit by bit. – What.. is this..? – She wondered.

I’ll attack Horse Prince one with Lakkuna!
(Amaterasu: 6200 Hugh: 7100)

You cannot defeat us. – Amaterasu stopped the Duel and walked thought it and faced Hugh. – Give us what we want… and I can arrange a place for you, in this mad world… - She whispered as she stroked Hugh’s chin and going up to his lips.
- Who... do you work with? – Hugh asked, looking at the woman’s mask.

Unlike before, there’s no Secret agency or whatsoever… but the Government knows about you. – She smirked as she poked his forehead. – They know what you’ve been through… what happened in that fateful day. The government already took care of everything. They have their own private police, we just tag along. We want a new world… we are going to collide Agia, Zukia and this world and create our world; A new Lost Christmas, December 24^th. We will make happen again, join us… I bet we can make great team. – Amaterasu teased Hugh with her plans as she talked in a seductive way.

- What about the Dragon Tamers? – Hugh wondered.
- Those are their private police; Just toys. In the end, we will thrash the government and them. Our plan is hidden... – She said softly. – So? What’s going to be…Will you choose Power and Greed or Control and Loneliness? – Amaterasu teased him softly, whispering on his ear making Hugh to look at Pandora while she was worried.
- Win, I’ll join you. Lose, I’ll pulverize you three. – Hugh demanded.

Amaterasu smirked and walked away, ending her turn.

Hugh’s turn
Amaterasu: 6200 Hugh: 7100

I will summon Bear and activate Tenki. To add and summon Dragon. I’ll activate Dragon’s effect to Send both my formations and revive Spirit.
I’ll tune two level 4 and a level 3 monsters to Synchro Summon, Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Pseudo-Teo Chimera. 

- I activate Lakkuna’s effect, to pay 1000 life points and negate Chimera’s Summon! – Amaterasu replied.
- Hugh grinned. – Chimera’s effect activates. When a monster effect targets it, I can negate it and make that monster’s ATK and DEF, 0 until the end phase. – Hugh answered.
- I wasn’t expecting that one… - Amaterasu giggled softly.

I’m not done with its effect. When it is Synchro Summon successfully, I can set as many Formations from my Graveyard to my side of the field. I’ll set Tensen, two Tenki and Tensu. Then I’ll attack Demon King!

Then Chimera’s effect activates, once per turn, when it destroys a monster; I can destroy another monster my opponent controls.
- You wish! Lakkuna is unaffected by your card effects during the battle phase. – Amaterasu replied, as her monster curled up like a ball and avoiding Hugh’s monster’s attack.

I end my turn.

Amaterasu’s turn 
Draw!

I activate Lekkuna’s effect, to detach 1 Xyz Material and prevent you from activating Spells, Trap cards or summon monsters this turn. Then I activate Fire Formation – Anwar. This allows me to Banish my Demon King and Special Summon two Fire Fist monsters from my graveyard. I’ll summon, Toad and Dog.

Next, I’ll activate Toad’s effect and chain with Dog’s effect. Each time an effect of a Fire Fist monster is activated, I can make my opponent’s monsters weaker by 500 ATK. Toad then will resolve and by the cost of a Fire Fist monster and a Formation, I can equip Toad to Lekkuna; Giving also a boost of 1100 ATK.

I’ll attack your Chimera with Lekkuna.
(Amaterasu: 5300 Hugh: 6900)

- Chimera’s effect activates, when it is destroyed; I can send any number of formations from my deck, hand or side field to the graveyard. And Special Summon one monster from my extra deck whose level is the same as the sent formations. I’ll send 12 Formations, two tenkis, one tensu from my side of the field and two from my hand and 7 from my deck. I’ll be Special Summon, Pseudo-Teo. – Hugh sent almost half of his deck to the graveyard for a big cost, as his monster rose. 

Huh… Magnificent… I choose to not activate Lekkuna’s effect, I end my turn.
- (She’s plotting something…) – Pandora thought, while feeling her lost energy being recovered.
